Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Vibe Classifieds. Read them before you list an app, send a message or make a deal. Short version: we run the board, you run the deal.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Vibe Classifieds (vibeclassifieds.com) is a free classifieds board where developers buy, sell and swap live vibe coded apps. It is operated by Mark Fulton under the Reinventing.AI brand (www.reinventing.ai). In these terms, "we", "us" and "the operator" mean that operator, and "the site" means vibeclassifieds.com.

By browsing the site, creating an account, posting a listing or sending a message, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You can reach us through the contact page.

2. Beta service

The site is in beta. Features can change, break or disappear. We may reset, pause or end the service. We try to give notice of big changes, but we do not promise it. The site is provided as is, as described in section 14 and on the disclaimer page.

3. What the site is, and what it is not

The site is a board where sellers post listings and buyers contact them. That is all it does.

4. Accounts

Browsing is open to everyone. To post a listing or send a message, you need a free account. You sign in with an email magic link or with Google.

5. Listings

A listing is one live app on its own custom domain that the seller owns. The full rules are on the listing rules page, and they are part of these terms. In short:

How posting works

  1. You paste the URL of your live app.
  2. The site reads the public page to suggest a name, pitch, category, stack and screenshot.
  3. You review and edit everything. What is published is your listing, not ours.
  4. You create a free account and post.
  5. The listing stays private until you prove you control the domain. You can do that with a meta tag, a DNS TXT record, or a text file at /.well-known/vibeclassifieds.txt.
  6. Once verified, the listing goes public with a green "Verified ownership" badge.

Lifespan of a listing

6. What the Verified ownership badge means

The badge means only two things: the seller proved control of the domain, and the site loaded when we checked. It is not a guarantee of quality, of ownership of the code, of revenue, of legality or of title. Revenue, user and traffic numbers on listings are self-reported by sellers. We do not verify them. See the disclaimer.

7. Your content and the license you give us

You keep ownership of everything you post: listing text, screenshots, names, messages. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, copy, resize and share that content, as needed to run the site and to promote the board and your listing. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that are needed to finish routine backups, to handle a dispute or to follow the law.

You promise that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not break these terms or anyone else's rights.

8. What sellers agree to

9. What buyers should do

Do your own due diligence before you pay for anything. Check the code, the database, the revenue, the licenses, the customer data and the privacy duties that come with taking over user data. Ask for proof. Use an escrow service for the domain transfer. Our disclaimer page has a checklist. Nothing on the site is advice.

10. Deals are between you and the other party

Any deal you make is between you and the other person. We are not responsible for the price, the terms, the transfer, the payment, the delivery, the condition of the app, or whether the other person does what they promised. If something goes wrong, you deal with the other person and, if needed, your escrow service, your payment provider or the courts. We may, but are not required to, help by hiding a listing or removing an account.

11. Messages, flags and moderation

Buyers and sellers talk through private conversations inside the site. There are no public comments, and email addresses are never shown on listings.

12. Acceptable use

Follow the listing rules and acceptable use page. In particular, do not post stolen or infringing apps, malware or phishing, fake or misleading metrics, domains you do not control, adult or illegal content, or scams. Do not use the site for gift card or wire fraud. Do not circumvent verification, scrape the board in bulk, spam other users or harass anyone.

13. Copyright

If you believe a listing infringes your copyright, follow the process on the copyright and takedown page.

14. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, that listings are accurate, or that any listing, user or deal is legitimate.

15. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the site or from any deal made through it. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero unless we agree otherwise in writing) and 100 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we suffer from third-party claims that arise out of your listing, your content, your deals, or your breach of these terms or the law. We will tell you about the claim and give you a fair chance to handle it where we reasonably can.

17. Ending things

You can stop using the site at any time and can ask us to delete your account through the contact page. We can suspend or remove accounts and listings at any time, particularly for breaking these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, including 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 18, survive the end of your account.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you have a dispute with us, contact us first through the contact page and give us a chance to sort it out informally. Both sides agree to try in good faith for at least 30 days before starting a formal claim. If that fails, the courts of that jurisdiction can hear the dispute. Nothing here takes away rights that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. For big changes we will try to post a notice on the site.

20. Contact

Use the form on the contact page. Please do not send passwords, API keys or other secrets through it. Related pages: Privacy Policy, listing rules, disclaimer, copyright notices, FAQ.
