For buyers

Buy vibe coded apps that are already live

Every listing is one working app on its own custom domain, and public listings carry a Verified ownership badge. Browse for free and message owners privately.

Building from scratch is faster than it used to be, but a running app with a domain, a codebase and maybe some users still saves you weeks. Vibe Classifieds is a free board where developers list live apps for sale, for swap or to give away. We are in beta and the board is new, so check what is listed now and come back as it grows.

What kind of apps can I buy here?

Listings are working apps built with AI coding tools or by hand, each on its own custom domain. You can browse by category:

Each listing is tagged For sale, Swap or Free. A Swap listing means the owner wants to trade for another project, and a Free listing is a hand-me-down to a good home. Our swap page explains how trades work.

Why does every listing need a custom domain?

We only accept apps on their own custom domain. No hosting addresses, no subdomains, no code only repositories, no ideas and no templates. A domain is a real asset that moves from one owner to another cleanly, and it shows the app is running now, not sitting in a folder. For a buyer this removes a lot of noise: you are looking at live projects, not concepts.

What does Verified ownership actually tell me?

A listing is saved privately until the seller proves they control the domain. They do that with a meta tag on the site, a DNS TXT record or a text file at a known address. When the check passes, the listing goes public with the green badge.

That is all the badge means. It does not confirm the revenue, the user count, the quality of the code or that the seller has the right to sell every asset in the project. Revenue and user numbers are self-reported and labeled that way. We also re-check domains periodically and hide listings whose site stops loading.

How should I evaluate an app before I buy?

Use the listing as a starting point, then do your own homework. A short checklist:

How much should I pay for a small app?

Sellers set their own asking prices, and price depends on revenue, growth, age, traffic, churn and the effort needed to run the app. We do not publish multiples or market figures, and we do not set or suggest prices. Read our guide to valuing an app to build your own view, and negotiate with the seller directly. A fair price for you is one you can justify from the numbers you have verified yourself.

How does a purchase work?

The site never handles money. After you message the seller privately inside the site, the two of you agree terms. A sensible order protects both sides:

  1. Agree the price, inclusions and timeline in writing.
  2. Pay into an escrow service so the funds are held by a neutral third party.
  3. The seller transfers the domain and the code repository.
  4. You check that the app runs, the data is complete and the accounts work.
  5. Funds are released to the seller, and the handover call closes the deal.

Our guide to transferring an app and its domain covers the technical steps: registrar transfers, DNS, repository ownership and rotating credentials after the move.

How does messaging work, and how do I report a problem?

You need an account to message a seller, and it is free. Messages are private and stay inside the site. Seller emails are never shown, and there are no public comments under listings. If a listing looks misleading or broken, flag it. When three people from different accounts flag a listing, it is hidden while it is reviewed. Read the listing rules for what is and is not allowed.

Can I just look for a bargain?

Sure, but be careful with anything that looks too cheap for what it claims to do. A low price can mean a small, honest project, or it can mean problems you have not found yet. The same checks apply at every price. If you want to trade instead of paying cash, look for Swap listings, or post your own app and offer it in exchange.

Questions buyers ask

Is it free to buy an app on Vibe Classifieds?

Browsing, messaging and listing are free, and we take no fee or cut from a deal. We never handle the money. You and the seller agree the price and terms between you, and we recommend an escrow service for the domain transfer.

What does the Verified ownership badge mean?

It means the owner proved they control the domain, using a meta tag, a DNS TXT record or a file on the site. It does not verify revenue, users, code quality or legal ownership of everything in the project. Treat it as a first filter, not a guarantee.

Are the revenue and user numbers real?

They are self-reported by the seller and labeled that way. Ask for proof before you pay: payment processor dashboards, analytics exports, bank deposits or a screen share. A seller with real numbers will not mind showing them.

How do I contact a seller?

Sign in and use the message form on the listing. Messages stay private inside the site. Seller emails are never shown, and there are no public comments. If you see something wrong with a listing, flag it. Three flags from different people hide it.

What should I ask for before paying?

Ask for proof of the numbers, a list of everything included, a walkthrough of how the app runs, the monthly running cost, and written terms. Agree the order of transfer up front, and put the funds in escrow rather than paying the seller directly.

Can I buy an app with users and a paying customer base?

Some listings will include customers and billing relationships, and the seller says so on the listing. Transferring subscriptions takes planning, so ask how it will work, who handles refunds and what happens to user data under the app privacy policy.
