Vibe Classifieds is a free classifieds board for live apps, built by Mark Fulton, founder of Reinventing.AI and of the Vibe Coding is Life community. We are in beta, and the board is new. We are not going to pretend there is a crowd waiting. What we can promise is a clean place to list, no cost to you, and a listing that tells buyers the owner really controls the domain.
Where can I sell a vibe coded app?
If you built your app with an AI tool such as Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Claude, Codex or Replit, you have a few routes: post it on a classifieds board like this one, list it on a fee-based marketplace, hire a broker, tell your own audience, or sell directly to someone you already know. We compare them honestly on our where to sell my app page.
This page covers the first route. A listing here is one app on one custom domain, written up in plain terms, open to anyone browsing, with private messaging so buyers can reach you without your email being posted anywhere.
Which apps can I list?
The rule is short: the app must be live on its own custom domain. That is a deliberate choice. A domain is a real asset, it transfers cleanly from one owner to another, and it proves the project is actually running.
- Allowed: a working SaaS, AI tool, developer tool, marketplace, directory, productivity app or browser game on a domain you own, with the domain at its root.
- Not allowed: hosting addresses such as vercel.app, lovable.app, netlify.app or github.io, subdomains, code only repositories, ideas and templates.
The full list lives on the listing rules page. Pick a category when you post: SaaS, AI tool, Developer tool, Marketplace, Directory, Productivity, Game or Other.
How do I sell my app here, step by step?
- Paste your URL. We read the public page, suggest a name, a one line pitch, a category, the stack and some details, and take a screenshot of the site.
- Check the draft and fill the gaps. We leave price, revenue, users and what is included for you to enter. We never guess those. Choose For sale, Swap or Free.
- Create a free account. An email link or Google works. Then post. The listing is saved but private.
- Verify the domain. Add a meta tag (a coding agent can do this in a minute), add a DNS TXT record, or upload a text file at /.well-known/vibeclassifieds.txt.
- Go public. When the check passes, the listing goes live with the green Verified ownership badge and buyers can message you.
The how it works page covers each step in more detail.
What should a good listing include?
Buyers scan quickly and trust specifics. Before you post, gather these:
- What the app does, in one sentence a stranger understands.
- The stack and where it is hosted today, so a buyer can judge the work to take over.
- Honest numbers: monthly revenue if there is any, user count, traffic, age of the project.
- What is included: domain, repository, database, accounts, customers, design files, a handover call.
- What it costs to run each month, and how many hours it takes you.
- Why you are selling. A plain reason builds more trust than a polished one.
Revenue and user figures are self-reported and labeled that way. Do not round up. A buyer who finds a gap between your listing and your dashboard will walk away.
How do I price an app?
Price depends on revenue, growth, age, traffic, churn and how much effort the app takes to run. An app with paying customers and low churn sits in a different place than a polished project with a few hundred visitors. Two apps with the same revenue can still differ if one needs daily attention and the other runs on its own.
We do not quote multiples or market statistics, because we do not have a track record to base them on, and we cannot promise a sale or a price. Read our guide to valuing an app, then pick a number you can defend with your own data. If you would rather trade, choose Swap, and if you want it to go to a good home, choose Free.
What usually transfers in a sale?
Every deal is different, so agree the list in writing before anything moves. This is the typical set.
| Item | What to settle with the buyer |
|---|---|
| Domain | Registrar, transfer lock, any renewal due soon, DNS records the app depends on |
| Source code | Repository ownership, branches, any private packages or keys to rotate |
| Database and data | A full export, and what happens to user data under your privacy policy |
| Hosting and accounts | Hosting, email sending, analytics and any third party services the app calls |
| Customers and billing | How paying customers and subscriptions move across, and who handles refunds |
| Design files | Logo, brand assets, screenshots, copy |
| Handover call | A walkthrough of how the app runs and where the sharp edges are |
How do I hand over an app safely?
The site never touches the money, so the order of steps is your protection. A sequence that works for both sides:
- Agree the price, inclusions and timeline in writing.
- Have the buyer put the funds with an escrow service, not with you directly.
- Transfer the domain and the code repository.
- Let the buyer verify that everything works and that the data is complete.
- Release the funds, then finish the handover call.
Our guide on transferring an app and its domain goes through each piece in detail.
I built it with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Claude or Replit. Does that change anything?
Not for the listing. Buyers care whether the app works, who uses it and how easy it is to take over. The tool you used matters only for the handover: tell the buyer where the project lives, how it deploys, and which accounts it depends on. If a builder keeps your project inside its own workspace, export the code to a repository you control before you list, so you have something to hand over.
Domain verification is the one step that surprises first time sellers. If you do not want to edit DNS, ask your coding agent to add the meta tag to the site head, deploy, and click verify.
What happens after I post?
Buyers who are signed in message you inside the site. Your email is never shown, and there are no public comments. If three people from different accounts flag a listing, it is hidden while we look at it. Public listings run 45 days and renew with one click. We re-check domains from time to time, and a listing whose site stops loading is hidden until it is back.
Questions sellers ask
Can I sell an app built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Claude?
Yes. We do not care which tool wrote the code. What matters is that the app is live on its own custom domain that you control. A project that only exists on a hosting address, or only as a code repository, cannot be listed here.
How much does it cost to sell my app here?
Nothing. Listing is free, browsing is free, and we take no fee or cut. We never handle the money either. You and the buyer agree terms yourselves, and we recommend using an escrow service for the domain transfer.
Why do I have to prove I own the domain?
Buyers need to know the person listing the app can actually transfer it. Verification checks that you control the domain through a meta tag, a DNS TXT record or a text file. It proves control of the domain and nothing else.
What if I do not know what price to ask?
Leave it for now and think it through before you post. Price depends on revenue, growth, age, traffic, churn and how much effort the app takes to run. Our valuation guide walks through each factor. You can also pick Swap or Free instead of a price.
How long does a listing stay up?
A listing is saved privately until you verify the domain. Unverified listings are deleted after 14 days. Once public, a listing runs for 45 days and you can renew it with one click. We also re-check domains and hide listings whose site stops loading.
Are my revenue and user numbers checked?
No. Revenue and user numbers are self-reported and labeled that way on the listing. The green Verified ownership badge only means the owner proved control of the domain. Be accurate, because serious buyers will ask for proof before they pay.
